Brisk Sleep

September 3, 2020

September 1, 2020 I started my 300 day program with Brian Johnson. A program that will help me to more and more consistently express the best version of myself and give the world all I’ve got. To close the gap between who I’m CAPABLE of being and who I’m ACTUALLY being by living with virtue. All of this in service of a better world, true connections and healthy love. Want to follow my progress? You can sign up.

I love it when a plan comes together. I had really NO CLUE how my screens were impacting my sleep so much. This is the 3rd night in a row that I went to bed at 23:00 and slept almost straight away. Yay for f.lux!

What also helps, is that I started taking melatonine 2mg per night. I’ve been ‘diagnosed’ with a light form of ADHD and one of the symptoms is that I’m having trouble falling asleep and/or have a disturbed day/night rhythm.

Since Brian Johnson, the lead coach of this Optimise program, encourages us to choose from one of the 3 main goals first (eat/move/sleep) and start 1 thing that helps and stop 1 thing that doesn’t help…I can already say the program is working. I’m a disaster when I don’t sleep well.

I also stopped using sugar all together and this already lead to me eating better and a little less as well. Lost 1 kg already. Way to go.

Tomorrow time for a long walk! 10K, daytime, after my new couch arrives from Amersfoort.

I am awaiting for my buddy to arrive in the program! We’ll be teamed up this week and to become a Certified Optimise Coach you need your credits from your buddy as well. I am curious. Let’s see.

Now, off to bed.

My drive is to optimise. (Me. You. The world) (Yes, in that order, I used to think it was the exact way around, but that really did not work). My talent is my growth mindset: to get most out of every situation and see that there’s always something to learn. (Always)(Always). My passion is to create. Possibilities. Ideas. Solutions. Art. Life.
